


Objectives:

To introduce the key concepts and building blocks of city transformation
-
To enable the reflection on contemporary Christian practices in a theological and critical way; with the purpose to renew them in a faithful manner.

To strengthen the learning and practice with the design and implementation of a renewal project under the supervision and mentorship of city leaders.
-
To cultivate a cohort to experiment, develop and support transforming practice in their respective spheres.
Target
Pastoral workers and lay leaders with a heart to serve their city and expand their horizons.
Prerequisite

A degree holder in an accredited University

Foundation biblical/theological training

IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
Format
-
Self-paced learning in between classes
-
Lecture and discussion during class (zoom for lecturers overseas)

3-day experiential learning with visits and de-briefing
Date: First Saturday of each month starting March
Time: 9:30am to 1pm
Venue: Trade Square, 681 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Cheung Sha Wan MTR Station Exit B)
Duration: 12 + 6 months
a. Monthly class in the first 12 months
b. Final project presentation 6 month after the last class
Class Size: 15- 20 (limited by the availability of supervisors)
Those who successfully complete all courses and requirements will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in City Transformation by the Institute for City Transformation, and the Advanced Certificate in Transformational Leadership for the City by the Bakke Graduate University (U.S.A.).
