Dr Lewis Li

BEng, MBA, MDiv, DMin

Dr. Lewis Li completed a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering and a Master of Business Administration at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was inducted as a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He has held executive positions in several global Fortune 100 companies, working in areas such as market strategy and operational excellence. Later, he broadened his experience by engaging with startups and SMEs. In 2022, after completing a Master of Divinity at the China Graduate School of Theology, he embraced the identity of a “slash pastor,” simultaneously carrying out pastoral ministry both inside and outside the church. His work includes business-as-mission, event coordination, and the “Theology Unboxed” YouTube channel. In 2025, he completed a doctoral dissertation at Bethel Seminary on the pastoral model of the “slash pastor.” He is now committed to expressing faith through diverse cultures and media, connecting congregations with their communities, and creating environments where the gospel can take root.

Dr Li’s other studies include a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine Nutrition, a certificate in Applied Psychology, certificates in Big Data and Business Analytics, and courses in Machine Learning. He also holds the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and has completed the Specialty Coffee Association barista certification program. In his leisure time, he enjoys long-distance endurance challenges, such as a 40-day pilgrimage trek in Spain and a 40-day solo fundraising journey from Chengdu to Everest Base Camp.
